Pineapple Bread Pudding

We want to share our Pineapple Bread Pudding with you. Now, you can try this recipe at home!

Pineapple Bread Pudding

3 eggs,  lightly beaten

¾ cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 cup cream

1 tsp vanilla

4 cups cubed bread, croissants or cinnamon rolls

Chopped pineapple

Chocolate chips

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray an 8X8 baking dish.
  2. Whisk eggs and sugar, whisk in the cream, milk and vanilla.  Pour over cubed bread.  Add desired amount of chopped pineapple and chocolate chips.  Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  3. Bake in a water bath for 45-60 minutes until bread pudding has puffed and springs back when touched.  You can also insert a knife and look inside to make sure custard is no longer liquidy.
  4. Remove from over carefully and cool on wire rack.
