HOW MANY PROPERTIES MAKE UP COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG HOTELS?
Colonial Williamsburg Resorts is a collection of three first-class conference hotels (Williamsburg Lodge, Williamsburg Inn, the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & Suites) and leisure hotels (The Griffin Hotel and Colonial Houses–Historic Lodging) that combine for over 800 guest rooms.
WHAT AMENITIES ARE OFFERED TO CONFERENCE GROUPS?
Each of the Colonial Williamsburg Resorts properties offers high-speed Wi-Fi, guest self-parking, and shuttle service to Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area, Art Museums, and Merchants Square.
HOW MANY MEETING ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are a total of 48 meeting rooms between all of the Colonial Williamsburg Hotels. The Williamsburg Lodge offers 28 meeting rooms, the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & Suites offers 11 meeting rooms, the Williamsburg Inn and The Griffin Hotel offer 9 meeting rooms.
WHAT IS THE LARGEST GROUP COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG HOTELS CAN ACCOMMODATE?
Colonial Williamsburg Hotels can host meeting groups of up to 1,000 guest rooms. Our 67,000 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space can comfortably accommodate up to 1,300 people for meetings or banquets, and 850 for dining banquets.
IS OUTDOOR FUNCTION SPACE AVAILABLE?
Yes, there are a number of unique gardens, lawns, and terraces for outdoor events, adding an additional 25,000 square feet of function space.
WHAT TYPES OF MEETINGS AND EVENTS DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?
Colonial Williamsburg Resorts has the ability to host meetings or events for all levels and budgets, including national sales meetings, executive board meetings, shareholder meetings, recognition events, retreats, training and educational events, school field trips, family reunions, weddings, and special celebrations.
WHAT DINING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR CONFERENCE GROUPS?
In addition to our extensive banquet offerings, Colonial Williamsburg Resorts has unique dining options to include resort restaurants and authentic historic dining taverns. Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square provides additional dining opportunities just a short walk from the majority of the official Colonial Williamsburg hotels.
IS THERE A SPA ON-SITE?
Yes. The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg is the only spa in Virginia to be recognized by Forbes Travel Guide with its distinguished Four-Star award. Offering services inspired by centuries of wellness practices, the Spa of Colonial Williamsburg includes an indoor pool, two outdoor pools, and a full-service fitness center with daily fitness classes.
IS THERE A GOLF COURSE ON-SITE?
Colonial Williamsburg’s Golden Horseshoe Golf Club offers 36 holes of legendary golf across two golf courses—The Gold Course and the Green Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and son Rees Jones, each course is designated as an Audubon sanctuary and is free of encroaching real estate. The Golden Horseshoe was awarded the “Premier Golf Resort Gold Medal” by Golf Magazine and listed by Conde Nast Traveller as one of “Top Ten Resorts in the South.”

The Colonial Williamsburg Resorts are located in the heart of Williamsburg, Virginia—mid-way between Richmond, Virginia, and Norfolk, Virginia. Getting here is easy with over 200 daily flights arriving at three nearby airports:

ARE PETS ALLOWED?
The Williamsburg Inn, The Williamsburg Lodge, The Griffin Hotel, and Williamsburg Woodlands offer dog-friendly accommodations based on availability.
IS THERE A FEE TO BRING PETS?
Yes. The Williamsburg Inn requires a non-refundable $150 per stay cleaning fee, The Griffin Hotel guesthouses and the Williamsburg Lodge require a non-refundable $100 per stay cleaning fee. The Williamsburg Woodlands requires a non-refundable $75 per stay cleaning fee.
IS THERE A DEPOSIT REQUIRED FOR PETS?
No.
ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS FOR WEIGHT, HEIGHT, OR TYPES OF PETS?
Yes. Dogs must be less than 100 pounds and no more than 2 dogs are permitted per room. You will be asked to sign a short pet policy accepting responsibility for any damage or special cleaning costs. We’ll also ask for your cell phone number so we may contact you, if necessary, while your pet is alone in your room.

Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area is the restored 18th-century capital of colonial Virginia. Comprised of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, 22 historic sites, 30 18th-century trade shops, and sites, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with locals and experience life in the 18th century firsthand in this 300-acre living history community.
