The Historic Tavern Dining Experience

  • At each of our 4 Historic Dining Taverns, the 18th century becomes so real you can taste it…through a historic food journey inspired by real recipes from centuries ago, with thoughtful adjustments for the modern palate! By researching and re-creating dozens of early American recipes, our chefs have discovered that some of the most tasteful and exciting culinary trends are more than 250 years old.
  • Wear your love for history on your sleeve and your napkin. Our tavern keepers will explain the historical significance of the “yard cloth” and demonstrate how to wear one during your meal.
  • Let the music move you into the 18th century. Live music was a staple of everyday living in colonial times. During any trip to a tavern, expect to hear stories and songs from tavern performers, dressed in 18th-century fashions.
